Dracula (1931)
English real estate agent Renfield travels far to Castle Dracula to transfer ownership of Carfax Abbey in London to a Count Dracula, who is in actuality a vampire. Using his dark powers, Dracula tricks Renfield into serving him and leading him back to London, where the Count terrorizes and preys upon the city's people. After Dracula attacks young woman Mina Seward, her doctor father calls the specialist Dr. Van Helsing to diagnose the sudden deterioration of Mina's health, who determines that the cause is vampirism. Together, Van Helsing, attempts to prepare Mina's fiance, John Harker, and Dr. Seward for what must be done to prevent Mina from becoming a vampire herself.
